Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your only chance to make a positive impact on buyers from a street perspective. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers form their initial perception of your house and how you perform home's regular maintenance.
Acknowledging this helps us to choose what actions we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home isn't the best it can look on the outside with touched up paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your house seem to say, "This is Your Next House" to a buyer? Looking through your place with a critical eye, I'll advise you of arrangements that enhance Open House appeal.
I'll tell you get rid of anything that gives the illusion of clutter. Table and counter tops should be neatly arranged. Brick-a-brack, souvenirs, family photos, and refrigerator drawings should get stored away too. We'll de-clutter your house. Unsightly or dirty spots make your home feel less spacious and buyers have a more difficult time imagining themselves calling your place home.
Every area gets a once-over. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that could use shining, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively affect the sale.
Working together, we'll make sure your home is appealing and that it's inviting, staying away from "offensive" or "too-bright" colors on the walls and furniture. And if the house is vacant, you can think about borrowing furniture. You want your home to look ready to live in as opposed to cold and deserted.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when your home is ready to show your home, because all of the improvements mesh together to create a picture of what buyers can look forward to after they close on your house. To counteract darkness is critical and we'll open curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to show off your house. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music playing softly and ensure a pleasing scent circulates room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your chairs and bed. Buyers should feel like your current place is their future home. |
